EASILY OPERATED AND COMPACT!
Although specifications and requirements for wrapping are different in each different country, there will be no other machine equivalent to the GW-4 series in a wide application for any kind of product and in compactness.
In overseas, the GW-4 is operated easily by customers themselves only with the operation manuals supplied with the machine, and except special cases that is no need of operation guidance at the user’s sites.
GW-4 series is constructed mainly of adequate cast iron and the parts in contact with the product are of aluminum casting so that the long life of the machines are ensured. The construction is relatively simple, and all the movement of the machine operation can be seen readily by rotating a manual handle.
The GW-4 series wraps the products fully automatically by charging the products into a hole made on the product charge turntable (the size of the products is an important factor to be considered for making this hole), and the product wrapped are discharged to a goods discharge conveyor. The product charge turntable rotates always to the same direction (counterclockwise) with intermittent drive, and the product is pushed upward by a lift head when it comes right below a wrapping former. At this time wrapping material prepared beforehand is fed by a paper feeder via paper feeding channel, and is cut to a predetermined size. A piece of wrapping material cut and the product pass simultaneously through the wrapping former, and contoured pack or four cornered pack except bottom fold is made. Then the product moves to the wrapping turntable, when the bottom fold is done by a folding plate. By the next turn, the product is transferred to a hest sealing plate sealed. Thus, the product is completely wrapped and is discharged to the good discharge conveyor.

ECONOMICAL AND EXCHANGEABLE!
During the above flow the wrapping processes, a film economizer (no product-no paper device) functions for saving the wrapping material, a photo electric cell makes proper registration of printing parttern, and a film end detector works to detect the ending of the wrapping material.
The machines are powered with a ¼ HP motor, requiring small electricity consumption and small floor space is enough, resulting in economy. Further skilled operator is not necessary.
As to exchangeability, one machine can wrap more than one kind of products by providing exchange parts. Also by attaching several accessories, the products of special shape can be wrapped.
